Hi there! I'm Virginia Booth, owner/photographer of Hot Shoe Photography. A little about me.....

I’m a formally trained photographer. I graduated with honors from The Western Academy of Photography in 1999. 

I describe my style as a blend of spontaneous, classic, and documentary.  The best way to capture the true essence of a wedding day or family session is for me to observe and use my instincts to capture a "moment". Like I'm on a safari. Waiting for just the right moment to freeze-frame my subject ;-)  It's important for me to step back and just let the festivities happen. The best candid, non posed moments are taken that way. I've had over a decade of experience to hone my skills in this area. 

The classic side of my style is just that.  Classic portraiture. Every wedding and portrait session needs some of these images.  Whether it's with a fashionista flare, or traditional twist, these images are important to have.
